Urgent Care Services

When your pet needs help — fast.

We are thrilled to be able to provide Urgent Care services Saturdays and Sundays 8am-6pm and select holidays. Our urgent care is open to all, not only to our established patients. If you elect to take advantage of oururgent care services please call us at (919)471-4103 to let us know. This will allow us to prepare in advance for your pets arrival.

At Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital, we know that not every health issue happens on a schedule. That’s why we offer urgent care services for pets who need immediate, non-life-threatening medical attention. Whether your dog ate something they shouldn’t have or your cat is suddenly limping, our experienced veterinary team is here to provide fast, expert care when you need it most.

Common urgent care cases include:

Vomiting or diarrhea
Limping or lameness
Minor wounds or injuries
Eye or ear infections
Allergic reactions
Trouble urinating
Sudden behavior changes
Coughing or sneezing

We prioritize urgent needs during our regular business hours and do our best to accommodate same-day appointments. Urgent care is also open Saturdays & Sundays 8am-6pm. If your pet’s condition is critical or life-threatening, we will direct you to the nearest emergency animal hospital for 24/7 care.
